Frequently asked questions
Can you work from STEP files?
Yes. We can import customer-supplied STEP files directly into our tube bending software and produce bent tubes based on 3D models.
Can you simulate tube bending before production?
Yes. Tube geometry and bending feasibility can be checked in the software before production starts.
Can you produce tubes before equipment is fully assembled?
Yes. Using STEP files and 3D models, tubes can often be prefabricated before final assembly, helping reduce installation and commissioning time onsite.
Can you provide tube marking and identification?
Yes. Tubes can be supplied with QR code labels, position numbers or other identification marking depending on project requirements.

Yes. Ekke Hydraulics is the exclusive representative of Transfluid in Norway, one of the world’s leading producers of tube bending machines, tube processing equipment and bending software.
What tube systems can you work with?
We can bend and install tubing in various standards including Ermeto, Swagelok, A-Lok, Gyro-Lok, D-Lok and Autoclave systems.
What tube sizes can you bend?
Our STEP-based production covers tube sizes from 12–42 mm (1/4″–1 1/2”). Using our mobile/manual bending equipment, we can bend tubes up to 60 mm depending on material and bending radius.
Do you only supply bent tubes?
No. Ekke Hydraulics can also perform complete tubing installation, flushing and pressure testing.
Can you take on complete tubing projects?
Yes. We can perform complete tubing installation scopes including prefabrication, installation, hydraulic hose assembly, flushing, pressure testing and as-built documentation, or provide experienced personnel to support existing project teams when required.
Can you provide experienced personnel for existing projects?
Yes. In addition to complete project execution, Ekke Hydraulics can also provide experienced tubing personnel, supervisors and hydraulic technicians to support existing offshore, marine and industrial project teams when required.
What types of testing can you perform?
We can perform flushing and pressure testing with water or oil up to 1500 bar, depending on system and project requirements.
Can you provide flushing and pressure test documentation?
Yes. Flushing and pressure testing can be documented with dedicated reports supported by valid calibration certificates for the measuring and testing equipment used.
Can you execute on site and offshore work?
Our workshop is located in Stavanger at Mekjarvik 13, 4072 Randaberg, Norway. However, we have a portable workshop setup including mobile tube bending machines, hydraulic power units, tube saws, pre-assembly equipment and hose crimping machines, allowing us to support onsite, offshore and marine projects in other locations when required.
Can you mobilize a portable workshop for onsite and offshore projects?
Can you support urgent mobilization or breakdown situations?
Yes. Depending on workload and project scope, we can mobilize personnel and equipment on short notice for urgent offshore, marine and industrial projects.
Can you perform welding work?
Yes. We can perform tube and piping welding based on our own welding procedures (WPS) using experienced and highly skilled welders for offshore, marine and industrial applications.
Can you support retrofit and modification projects?
Yes. We regularly support retrofit, upgrade and modification projects where space limitations and difficult routing require flexible tube fabrication and onsite adjustments.
